COACHING SESSIONS: $75

The 2008 Manuscript Critique with Janet Goldstein, founder and principal of Janet Goldstein Enterprises, a New York boutique publishing and strategy consulting firm that works with authors, publishers, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits at all stages, “to bring their ideas and publishing visions to the next level.”

Those who sign up will have the opportunity to have a one-on-one 30-minute coaching session to review the concept, editorial strength, market viability and publishing options for one fiction or non-fiction project. The goal for each participant will be to come up with specific creative and business next steps. Participants will have the option of completing a two-page “book brief” assignment in advance. This is the most important internal document used in a publishing house.
